Please join me for a restorative Yin Yoga workshop on Saturday, October 24th!
Yin is a quiet, contemplative practice that works deeply into our bodies with passive, longer-held poses. There are many benefits to a regular Yin practice, as it improves our energy flow, circulation, and also our flexibility. In addition, Yin:
Calms and balances our mind and body
Reduces stress and anxiety
Encourages deeper relaxation
Improves joint mobility
Brings balance to our internal organs through meridian stimulation
This workshop will also focus on understanding what is Yin yoga, how to practice it, and also how to delve into its meditative qualities. You will learn about the benefits on a physical level (how it affects fascia tissue and organ health), as well as on a mindful level (the practice of mindfulness and self-love)
I have been teaching yoga since 2002, with an emphasis on Yin and Mindful Flow. I have completed a Yin training with Paul Grilley, and has studied with Sarah Powers at the Chicago Yoga Center. She brings her experience and her love to her teaching.
This workshop will also be available via livestream, so you can participate in it wherever you are! The Join Class link will be sent to you 1 hour before the workshop begins, and you will need to have an active Zoom account on your device.
